Zoom 'Coffee sessions'

To help stave off loneliness and provide a bit of human contact, we are holding Zoom Coffee Morning/Evening sessions - please 'bring' your own coffee (or alternative!) & biscuits and come for a chat on;

  • Tuesdays 10.30am
  • Thursdays 7.30pm

Church - Weekday Opening

St Peter's Church is also open daily for private prayer. We hope to open between 9.00am (11.00am Sundays) to 5.00pm daily, although we may have to shut the church without notice if necessary.

Please feel free and welcome to come and spend time in prayer or meditation. The two back pews are available. The remainder of the Church is cordoned off to make the daily cleaning process feasible. Please follow the instructions in Church and make sure you use the sanitiser both when entering and leaving the Church.

Services in Church

Church services are now permitted in all tiers.

Telephone Prayers

The national church Daily Hope phone line is available 24 hours a day 0800 804 8044

This free national phone line is designed especially for those who do not have access to the internet.

Callers will hear a special greeting from the Archbishop of Canterbury before choosing from a range of options, including ‘Prayer During the Day’, ‘Night Prayer’ and a recording of the Church of England’s weekly national online service.

A section called Hymn Line will also offer a small selection of hymns, updated daily.

Giving

Church Collections - we are most grateful to everyone who is making their contribution to the Church expenses during these difficult times.

Thank you!

As a significant amount of our income is normally raised through fund-raising events (like the Quiz, Plant Sale, Fete etc) our finances are being hit hard by the lock-down. If you are able to help us out with gifts, regular or one off, please contact our treasurer Mrs Beth Overfield on 01462 815672.

Thank you!
